EU opposes the parliamentary majority in the Republic of Moldova from defectors and Shor’s deputies
The European Union does not want the new parliamentary majority in Moldova to be formed by bribing deputies or with the help of the deputies of the party of Ilan Shor, convicted by the court of first instance for involvement in the “theft of the century”.

This, according to “Free Europe”, was declared by a high-ranking official in Brussels, noting that the EU qualified the post-electoral situation in Moldova as “very problematic”. The warning was announced on the eve of the meeting of EU foreign ministers to be held on Monday, March 18. The agenda of the event includes the issue of evolution of the situation in Chisinau since the last discussion on this topic, which took place a year ago. According to the European official, since then the situation with democracy in the Republic of Moldova has deteriorated, and an example of this is the non-recognition of the mayor of Chisinau elections in June last year. The lack of progress in the investigation of banking theft was also noted.
