The socialists demanded to remove Filip and Candu from the election
The Party of Socialists submitted today, on February 11, 48 appeals and two protests to the Central Election Commission on the fact of violations committed during the election campaign by the Democratic Party and its satellites.
As the PSRM representative to the CEC, Maxim Lebedinsky, noted, the socialists wanted to convey to the Central Election Commission, to the international and local observers what the administrative resource meant, and who actually used it.
“The Party of Socialists is the only party interested in ensuring that these elections are transparent, open and fair,” Lebedinsky explained. He noted that most of the appeals submitted concerned PDM and the Shor Party. First of all, the socialists are outraged that the Prime Minister Pavel Filip and the Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu are campaigning in favor of the Democratic Party, maintaining their posts. The PSRM believes that they must either suspend their powers, or their registration as candidates should be canceled", Maxim Lebedinsky said.
