The Parliament declined to discuss the problem of drug abuse in Moldova
The Party of Socialists deputies took the initiative to hold hearings in the legislative body of the country with the participation of the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research and the Ministry of Justice on one of the most burning problems in the Moldovan society.
In particular, as the PSRM deputy Vladimir Odnostalko noted, despite the actions taken to combat drug abuse and prevent this phenomenon, the problem was growing. In particular, the socialist pointed to the unhindered advertising of drugs and their free sale on the Internet.
Despite the arguments presented, the parliamentary majority did not support the initiative. In particular, the deputy of the DPM, Valentina Buliga, said that there enough to have discussions on this issue in the parliamentary commissions, and not at the plenary sessions, aif.md reports.
