The Head of State signed decree on the resignation of Alexander Tanase
One less Unionist left in the power. Thus, the President of Moldova, Igor Dodon, commented on the resignation of ex-Minister of Justice Alexander Tanase.
"This is the sixteenth retirement in the Government of Filip (including 14 ministers and two deputy prime ministers), signed by me. It would be nice to see the resignation of the whole composition of the Government headed by Prime Minister Filip, which would allow early parliamentary elections to be held simultaneously with the elections in the Chisinau and Balti municipalities, as most of our citizens aspire to. We would save tens of millions of lei in this way," the President said.
At the same time, Igor Dodon warned that he was ready at any moment to expel all the members of the ruling regime from politics, removing not only the obvious, but also the hidden Unionists.
"Either way, sooner or later, but it will happen. Before the parliamentary elections, or immediately after, they will leave. And in their place a new power - social and pro-Moldovan will come," Igor Dodon said.
