Over 63% of the population spoke out against changing the name of the state language
In the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova, "Moldovan", rather than "Romanian", should remain the state language. This opinion is shared by more than 63% of the population, according to the survey data provided by the IMAS Public Opinion Research Center.

At the same time, 34% of respondents expressed their support for changing the name of the state language of the Republic of Moldova.
