From November 1, Accent TV becomes “Channel One in Moldova”

The Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting unanimously approved meeting the request of the Accent TV channel to rename it “Channel One in Moldova”, aif.md reports citing media-azi.md.

The channel will relay the Russian Channel One in our country.

Director of Accent TV Stanislav Vyzhga said at the meeting that a contract had already been signed to relay the Russian Channel One, and a transmission schedule had been drawn up. It is worth noting that, until now, the broadcasts of the Russian Channel One have been relayed by the Prime Channel affiliated to PDM ex-leader Vlad Plahotniuc.

Earlier, the State Duma of the Russian Federation called on Channel One to terminate the contract with Prime after the so-called Propaganda Ban Act was passed by the Democrats and after the PDM regime did not allow many Russian journalists enter our country.
