An earthquake near Moldova


An earthquake occurred in Romania, in the seismic zone of Vrancea, Buzau County. Its magnitude was 3.4 on the Richter scale.

Tremors were recorded this morning, at 03.38 am, at a depth of 134 kilometers. It is worth noting that since the beginning of this month there have been 18 earthquakes in Romania with magnitudes from 2.1 to 4.2 on the Richter scale.

The strongest earthquake this year occurred on January 9 in Buzau County. Its magnitude was 4.4 points on the Richter scale, protv.md reports.
