Igor Dodon congratulated citizens on the holiday of the three holy hierarchs
Today, the Orthodox Christians who adhere to the old style commemorate the three hierarchs: Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian, and John Chrysostom, who are considered to be great teachers of Christianity.
The three saints lived in the fourth century, called the “golden age” of the Christian world. The three fought hard, trying to clarify the truths of the Orthodox faith, opposed heresies and false beliefs. On the occasion of this holiday, the Head of State wished all citizens of the country, and especially those who today celebrate the name day, health, peace and prosperity.
