Igor Dodon went to Moscow to participate in the opening ceremony of the 2018 FIFA World Cup
At the invitation of the Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Head of State went to Moscow to participate in the opening ceremony of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which will be held from June 14 to July 15.
During the visit, meetings with officials from the Russian Federation and other countries are planned, including a meeting with the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill.
Matches will be held at 12 stadiums in 11 cities located in the European part of the Russian Federation to reduce distances for 32 participating teams. Presence of about 570 thousand foreign fans is expected, as well as 700 thousand from Russia itself.
