Igor Dodon sent a congratulatory message to Vladimir Putin on the occasion of the Day of Russia
President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon congratulated his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and all residents of the Russian Federation on the occasion of the state holiday - the Day of Russia, which is celebrated on June 12.
"Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich,
On behalf of the Moldovan people and on my own behalf, I cordially congratulate you and all Russians citizens on the state holiday - the Day of Russia and sincerely wish you happiness, prosperity, peace, and harmony.
Russia has for centuries been a very important strategic partner of the Republic of Moldova. We are connected not only with the common pages of history, but also with successful trade and economic cooperation, deep cultural and human ties that, despite the desire of some politicians, will not be broken in the future.
Let me express my confidence that our friendly peoples, having overcome all obstacles on their way, will continue to contribute to deepening and expanding the close multilateral partnership of Moldova and Russia.
Taking advantage of this pleasant opportunity, I wholeheartedly congratulate you on a wonderful holiday and wish you realization of all your thoughts and aspirations for the glory of the Russian State and its great people," reads the President's message.
