Ion Cheban and Mayor of Minsk Andrei Shorets agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation
Chairman of the PSRM faction in the Municipal Council of Chisinau, Ion Ceban met with the Mayor of the Belarusian capital Andrei Shorets. The parties discussed areas of cooperation between our countries and capitals and a plan for bilateral cooperation for the next two years.

Cheban noted that the cooperation agreement between Chisinau and Minsk did not work in full, therefore, it was decided to strengthen all areas of cooperation. First and foremost, this is a matter of housing and communal services, in which Minsk has a unique experience. The next important issue of cooperation is roads and urban transport. And, the third most important issue is urban planning, , adoption of general and zonal urban planning plans.

The Republican Research Project Enterprise "BELNIIPRADOSTROITELSTVA" and other design institutes are ready to connect all their resources to assist in the development of the general plan of Chisinau.

The mayor of Minsk promised comprehensive assistance on all vital issues, from scientific and technical developments to attracting investments in Chisinau.

"We agreed that in the near future, delegations from Moldova would visit Minsk for the final resolution and documentation of all issues. We will designate the measures that will have to be implemented urgently.

By the way, a new electric bus will come soon for a test drive to Chisinau. The plan for two years will soon be signed. Projects and programs will develop.

I invited the mayor of Minsk to Chisinau as part of a separate delegation to fully restore our relations.

We had a very busy program of the visit. Minsk, its enterprises and social facilities did not just surprise me, but left the most shocking impressions that a capital of the state can produce. I'll talk about this later with the presentation of all the documentation," Ion Cheban noted.
