Moldova waits for a command of Europe to switch to "summer" time
Our government has not yet decided whether the country will move to daylight saving time, because there is no yet corresponding decision of the European Commission. As the Ministry of Economics and Infrastructure reports, the Council of Europe intends to adopt amendments to the Directive 2000/84 / EB on the transition to summer time. According to preliminary data, the European Parliament intends to refuse to transfer forever for all EU member states.
In the opinion of parliamentarians, the transition to "winter" and "summer" time is economically unjustified, besides it harms people's health. Directive 2000/84 / EB on the time changes was adopted in 2001 in order to save electricity. This year, transition to "summer" time should occur on the night of March 25.
Recall that most countries in Asia, Africa and South America have already stopped the transfer of clock arrows, but in Europe and North America it is still actual. Earlier, Russia changed the time to "winter" one on a constant basis.
