Rating of trust to Igor Dodon and the presidency is steadily growing
Actions of the Head of State are approved and supported by the majority of citizens of the country.
Moldovan President Igor Dodon remains the Moldovan politician with the highest rating of citizens' trust as was shown by another poll of public opinion, the results of which were presented today, July 6, in Chisinau.
Answering the open question, whom from politicians citizens trust most, the largest number of respondents answered that Igor Dodon. 41.7% said they have very great confidence or trust in the head of state. Thus, in the rating of citizens' preferences, the President is leading practically with a double separation from the nearest competitor Maya Sandu, who has 24.9%. The third place is occupied by Andrei Nastase with 15.3%.
The confidence of citizens in the institution of the President is also growing. If during the reign of Nicholay Timofti the presidency, as a rule, was located on the last lines of the rating, now it is on the 4th place with 39.2% confidence after the church, the mayoralty and the army. The last place is occupied by the parliament with 12.3%.
The survey was conducted by CBS-AXA from June 20 to June 30. 1,164 people took part in it. The maximum error is +/- 2.8%.
