The President of Moldova discussed with the leader of the world anti-LGBT movement the possibility of holding a World Family Congress in Chisinau
President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon, during his working visit in Budapest, held a meeting with Brian Brown, chairman of the International Organization for Family Affairs and leader of the world anti-LGBT movement. The parties discussed issues related to the role of the family in society, protection of marriage, family and human values.
"We discussed the challenges that the family institution is facing all over the world today. I noted that Moldova stands for the preservation of traditional values and families," the Head of State wrote on his page in one of the social networks.
In this context, Igor Dodon discussed with Brian Brown, the National Campaign on Family Capital, which would raise the standard of living of families with children, and also discussed the activities held in Moldova in support of traditional families.
"We discussed the possibility of organizing and holding the World Family Congress in Chisinau in 2018. I confirmed that I am categorically against LGBT communities that contradict our traditional values and the Orthodox religion. We must preserve our morality and traditional families," the Moldovan President concluded.
Recall that on the eve in Chisinau hosted a grand festival of the Family under the patronage of the Head of State.
